OVERVIEW:
BuildTogether is an early-stage startup that looks to build a generative AI platform that can output construction-ready architectural blueprints, fast and sustainably. This would expedite deal flow for architectural firms and optimize the way work is done. Furthermore, it would help new and pre-existing ventures make necessary adjustments to meet net-zero regulation (effective by 2050 for 22 US states).
As the lead product designer on the team, I was responsible for overseeing the design of two key products: LEED Calculator and FLOW AI. Working on rounds of iterations was essential when defining the brand identity and determining how I was able to make the web app more intuitive for architects.

Constant Communication + Feedback: With this contract work, I learned the importance of always seeking feedback. Especially at a rapidly-paced startup, a continuous back and forth between the founders proved to be paramount when making improvements and ensuring alignment with the company's user needs and business goals.
Voicing Your Opinion: I now understand why it is important to vocalize one's design decisions and thoughts to actively seek feedback. By sharing work openly and expressing opinions, I am able to foster better collaboration, while redefining work through valuable insights from my CEO and CPO.
Staying Updated with Design Trends: One thing to highlight about crafting an entire brand and visual identity from scratch is to always draw inspiration from past experiences, while also staying updated with new design trends through social media.
